Operational Policies

  • Our Centre is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We observe all statutory holidays as well as scheduled maintenance closures to ensure a pristine environment for our children and staff.

  • All children must be escorted to and from the Centre by an adult who is at least twelve years of age. This ensures the safety and accountability of each child under our care.

Authorized pick-up persons must be listed officially and will be required to show photo ID. Changes to authorized persons must be communicated in writing or by phone prior to pick-up.

  • A late pick-up fee applies after 6:00 p.m., starting at $5.00 for the first five minutes and $2.00 for each additional minute. This fee is payable to the staff within 24 hours.

  • Children exhibiting contagious symptoms must stay home to prevent the spread of illness. This includes conditions like fever, vomiting, and pink eye. A doctor’s note may be required for re-admission after an illness.

Medications must be provided with a doctor’s note and will only be administered by designated staff following proper procedures.

Must stay home for 48 hours (2 full days) if sent home with fever, vomiting, diarrhea and not limited to these examples.

  • Our Centre maintains a strict nut-free policy. All meals provided are nutritious and prepared in accordance with health standards. Special dietary needs must be documented and discussed with staff.

  • We accommodate children with special medical or developmental needs as much as possible within the capabilities of our staff and facilities. Plans are personalized and may involve consultations with healthcare professionals.

  • Our programs and activities are designed to promote inclusivity and respect for diversity. Educational materials are carefully selected to support this ethos.
