Our Centre

West Prep Children’s Centre is a not-for-profit corporation. We have successfully been in operation since August 1985. We are located in West Preparatory Pubic School. We are a proud member of the community and work together with families to ensure a high level of childcare,  quality learning and development needed for the well being of each child in our care.

The Centre is licensed by The Ministry of Education and follows the C.C.E.Y.A guidelines policies and procedures.

WPCC is participating in the CANADA- WIDE EARLY LEARNING AND CHILD CARE SYSTEM (CWELCC)  Please view the new fees on the fee page 

WPCC is operated by a professional staff of  Registered Early Childhood Educators and assistants, managed by a full-time Supervisor and Assistant Supervisor. The Centre is governed by a volunteer Parent Board of Directors which has legal responsibility for the Centre’s affairs, including staff employment and audited financial statements. Members of the Board include the Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and Centre Supervisor. Elections are held at the Annual General Meeting. To ensure a balanced representation, membership on the Board is limited to one parent per family.

We will be closed for cleaning and sanitizing  the week of  August 26 to Sept 2, 2024.  We will re-open on Tuesday Sept 3, 2024.

We will also be closed on Wednesday Dec 25, Thursday Dec 26, Friday Dec 27, 2024,  Wednesday, Jan 1, 2025

              Remember all fees are due the 1st day of each month, post dated cheques are required  payable to “West Prep Children’s Centre of Toronto”
